Jesus love you all!!!

Back at it again.
What's crakalakin my people? haha
So Hermana Bainbridge didn't go in for her exam this week. And there were some complications with her insurance. She got really stressed out which sucks because she was NOT feeling good.

But we stayed at our Presidents house on Tuesday. We were literally alone in their house for like 4 hours. It was pretty cool. Got some reading and journal writing done. They came home. We had some pizza and ice cream. Then Sister Ocampo wanted to make bracelets with us. So we did and they are super cool. She loves having visitors haha she talked forever with us. She is definitely our Mom here in Texas. 

The next day we went and spent the day with Sister Peterson. She bought us pumpkins to paint and we just chilled with her because H'Bainbridge still didn't feel good. The Peterson's are super sweet and loving. They have 10 kids and 47 grandkids. They sold their home in Utah and drove down to Texas to serve their mission. She is the Mission Nurse and Elder Peterson is in charge of the cars we have here. 

I helped him download an app on his phone. That was hilarious. He tried to find two apple stores that day to help him. I literally did it in 5 minutes. It was cute. He's the sweetest old man I've ever met hahaha.

On Thursday we drove home. We took the day kind of slow because of H'Bainbridges' stomach. But we are continuing with our miracle pros idea. We have soooo many and we're so excited to make a project out of them.

Friday we had a trunk or treat for our ward. We spray painted this old reesty whiteboard blue and painted El Libro de Mormón on it. We're going to take that every where we go from now on as well.

We put some spiderweb and lights on the back of our trunk and had the big board on the side. We passed out our candy that we got from Grandma Bainbridge.

We had a ton until these teenage girls took PHAT handfuls after we said a few pieces...🤔🤔😑

We talked to a ton of recent converts that came. They were happy to see us. Haha I love Halloween.
Last p-day we bought some fabric for lamanite costumes. And they looked super awesome.
Because a few weeks ago Sister Ocampo said we could dress up if we have a learning opportunity out of it. But we asked her while at her house just to double check and she whispered to us that Prez doesn't want anyone to dress up.😭😭

We taught the De Hoyos fam again this week!!! They loved the restoration lesson we gave them. Then we gave all of the copies of the Book of Mormon and they said they will read every night as a family after they pray. And they said they are going to come to church but they didn't. So we might have to drop them.

We extended an invitation for baptism for Raul this week. He said he wants to...but he'll need time. He said it's a big decision and wants to go to church more before he does. We explained to him that if he wants to get baptized he has to stop smoking weed. He goes, "Girls you can't do me like that?!" It was hilarious. He said he'll try...but he's been smoking weed since he was 8 years old.

We were a little shocked. Anyway we're praying for him.

El Libro de Mormón es muy importante en mi vida. Yo sé que es verdadero. Las enseñanzas en este libro trae gozo, claridad, paz, y los sentimientos del espíritu santo en los corazones de todo. Dios nos dio a su hijo Jesucristo. El Libro de Mormón es un otro testamento de Él. Me encanta la abilidad tenemos a leer más acerca de mi hermano y Salvador Jesucristo.
Mi misión en este momento es para invitar muchas personas a Cristo. Una manera de hacer esto es también invitar la gente a leer en el Libro de Mormón. Porque no?
Yo sé que cada vez leo en este libro yo siento el luz y amor de Jesucristo. Yo sé que soy en Texas para un razón. El razón es para ayudar las personas aquí a sentir el espíritu santo y crecer su fe.
El Libro de Mormón es perfecto para las personas aquí.
Por favor leerlo.
Y orar por eso.
Yo sé que la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días es verdadero. Soy una misionera en Texas por la iglesia porque yo sé que es verdadero.

Hermana Darling...Are you a Darling?

Hi guys,

          As a mission we had an amazing opportunity this past Saturday to listen to an apostle of the Lord, Ulysses Soares. Then as a stake conference we got to hear him on Sunday as well. 

Oh my goodness. The spirit was so strong the whole entire time. He also had a member of the 70 and an area 70 with him as well. Elder Villarreal and Elder Ochoa. Their talks were exactly what I needed to hear. They explained a ton about how our missions are going to prepare us for the rest of our lives. And how this is the time for us to have a personal conversion to our Savior. This is the time for us to prepare ourselves as well as the others we are reaching to meet God.

         The spirit hit me so strong during the meeting about some things I need to work on. So strong to the point where I made a comment about how we are on the mission for a little amount of time. This time isn't ours. This mission isn't ours, we can't waste anytime when there are so many people that need to hear about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to be able to follow the spirits prompting to be led to the people Heavenly Father has prepared for us.

          The spirit was burning in my chest and I knew that I need to improve on sooo many things.

But the way they all explained it to us was amazing. There was so much love and upliftment...and some jokes. Haha

The running joke was that Spanish is the celestial language. But Elder Soares said that God may hear our prayers in Spanish but the answers will always come in Portuguese. Haha he was laughing when he said this...all of us were.

Also we all got to shake his hand.

He looks at my name tag. Say's "Hermana Darling... Are you a darling?" I laughed and was like yeah haha Then he cupped my hand with both of his.

Boooyahhh!!! Never washing that hand haha. We had a two hour meeting with them and with all the missionaries in our whole mission. I got to see my people from Brownsville and the CCM!!! Twas awesome. 

We then went and had Costco pizza. Haha that was also awesome After that conference we all felt super inspired to find more creative ways to find people.

One way that we've been finding is by going around with flashcards and just asking everybody to write down a miracle they have had in their lives. We've already gotten like 40 and when we get more we are going to like make a picture out of them and bring it to a park or something so the people can flip the cards and see all the miracles on them. We love this project. We've met some amazing potentials. And it's an easy conversation starter. 

Sister Durrans is in Perú now. She got her visa and she left after our conference on Saturday then flew out on Sunday. Awwwww we miss her. But she was called to Perú for a reason and she's going to bless every single life she comes in contact with. It feels so different. Anytime we go somewhere we feel like we're forgetting something haha.

I am so thankful that I was sent here to the TMM. It is literally the best place ever!!!

The people here are getting so prepared for the gospel it blows our mind. I know the work we do is helping bring souls unto Christ. I know the work we do everyday has a purpose.

I know that Jesus Christ lives. He loves every single one of us.
